Giving Back. Even if it's as simple as a smile, everyone has something to give.

CHARITY AND COMMUNITY WORK

  • Rotary Club Beverly Hills - As a proud Rotarian, Rebecca believes strongly in service above self. She jointly led the Christmas celebration for unhoused children through the Salvation Army to ensure every child who attended felt loved and took home gifts for both themselves and their siblings.

  • Beverly Hills Education Foundation (BHEF) - Rebecca supported the BHEF Board of Directors by spearheading a 650+ person fundraising benefit for children, raising over $375,000. BHEF elevates public school education in Beverly Hills by investing in people and opportunities that inspire learning, enrich teaching, promote innovation, and reward academic excellence for all children in BHUSD.

  • Destiny Rescue - Through Little Makes Big (L.M.B), Rebecca supported Destiny Rescue (an organization that rescues girls and women from slavery and sexual exploitation) as an employer of the girls who graduated from the rehabilitation program. She also visited Chiang Rai to educate the girls in the rescue house and purchased and donated necessary sewing equipment to extend their manufacturing capabilities.

  • Share the Dignity and Blessing Bags - Each year at Christmas, both organizations collect personal items for people less fortunate and homeless. Little Makes Big allocated 500 clutches annually to donate so the hygiene items collected from the public could be placed inside each clutch, giving the recipient something to keep forever.

  • Sacred Heart Mission - For over a decade, Little Makes Big supported the Sacred Heart Women's Mission House through donated auction items and by donating a percentage of proceeds from various product launches. Additionally, they donated new products with minor stitching errors to homeless women at the mission, enabling them to present themselves professionally to help acquire gainful employment. Rebecca also helped each woman remember her worth by personally gifting them their very own tote bag, serving as a physical item of hope for what their future could hold.

  • The Christmas Kindness Benefit - Rebecca served as the Event Coordinator and Host of The Christmas Kindness Benefit. The event raised thousands of dollars for Brainwave Australia, supporting children with brain illnesses. She also personally delivered more than 300 presents (collected at the event) to the children admitted to The Royal Children's Hospital for Christmas.

  • The Black and White Benefit - Rebecca hosted and coordinated a black-tie event for 250 guests at her family home, which raised thousands of dollars to support families in East Timor through the Oak Tree Foundation.

  • Operation Angel - As Operations Manager for Operation Angel, Rebecca helped coordinate crisis efforts ranging from the Southeast Asian Tsunami to Victoria's devastating bushfires to Queensland's destructive floods. This involved distributing urgent relief for victims, gaining major sponsors, coordinating the transportation of pallets of goods, and communicating with State contacts to gain access to the impacted zones.

  • Life's Little Treasures - Rebecca organized a netball match with her friend Jess between two schools to help raise money to support families with premature babies.

  • Camp Diversity - Rebecca supported Lord Somers Camp to assist children with disabilities by attending the camp, playing games, and engaging in activities with the children to give their carers a weekend to relax and regroup.
